Streamza is a cloud media player that also has the capability of fetching torrents. They use their own client with own IP address, which protects you and makes you anonymous. Because they hide your private IP address. Which of course, protect you from IP tracking or IP monitoring by any third party that could be following you. You are completely anonymous for all except Streamza. It is also possible to use this to avoid geographically blocked content. Fortunately, I have never heard of any torrent that has a geographical lock or geo-block. Let’s split downloading into two parts, from which I will show you firstly fetching of Streamza.
Fetching is the actual torrent download that will get a torrent file into your Streamza cloud storage. It is completely done on their side and speed of it depends on a seeds’ number that downloading file has as on the technology that is used for downloading this file. You cannot influence their torrent client, but it is possible to look for files with a higher number of seeds. Their current fetching speed is not a good one. I experienced long waiting times and speed of 100 KB per second, which is just terrible in comparison with their price. Files with lower seeds have (as expected) worse speed, and I will keep this in mind during my conclusion.

Streamza users have access to Instant download, which is just shared storage that can be used to duplicate someone’s file into your cloud. These files can be shared via link or search bar, and you can rate them by their quality. Access to this files is almost instant and only depends on the size of the file you are copying. You can imagine it as moving a file from USB stick storage to your computer, but happening on their servers.
Downloading to your device depends on the strength of your connection to Streamza. I want to mention that this feature is only for premium users; free users cannot download their files from the cloud. It was important to measure this speed in many places, and that is why I used a VPN to alternate my location, which helped me to see how reliable it is. The location of their servers is unknown. However, I would personally guess that their servers are in Italy or somewhere in Europe because the speed was highest there. I also experienced a lot of dropdowns in Asia or South America. Surprisingly a small speed-related issue happened in North Americ. For 5 minutes, my file had a speed of 1 KB per second. These issues will also be in my mind during my conclusion.
Their storage is inaccessible on mobile devices, which I tested on iPhone X as an iOS user, I also tested it on Pixel 2 XL to see the results for Android fans and lastly I tried to download and watch files on my Blackberry Playbook. The design is not responsive, and it is frustrating to use for end-users. I strongly recommend using computers or bigger screens for accessing it. Small flaw on the beauty of their design is also footer that is supposed to hold all important information, but most of the links there do not work. That wouldn’t be a huge deal when you speak about customer support, FAQ or social media accounts, that are not that important, but Streamza designer also put a Terms of Service there, which you or I cannot access and then you don’t know what are you signing up for.
Streamza have a free account for you to try some features of their service, but it is the most limited free account on the market now. There is a time limit which is 14 days of this free trial. Then there is a limitation that denies your download to your computer. You also cannot view images or listen to audio files and you can watch only up to 2 minutes of any video files. It could also happen that your allowed watch time will be 30 seconds instead of 2 minutes. The premium account doesn’t have these limits.
In conclusion, I would rate Streamza speed as 2 out of 5, because of all the inconsistency and speed drops. Their storage and service overall get 2 out of 5 as well. In the end, I assess their security as 3 out of 5 stars, because there is no antivirus screen or extra encryption. Adding all of these ratings together shows you, that I consider Streamza as a below-average downloader and that I recommend looking for a better service. If you want a service, that is more reliable for the same price, please, read more of my reviews.
